Life Sciences Consulting - UK & US

Life Sciences Consulting – solution oriented consultants with business process and technology consulting experience in either or both of:

Drug Safety or Clinical Development environments

Supply Chain/Manufacturing/QA & QC environments

Our client, a Consulting and Technology Services firm across Europe and the USA.

Growing demand requires the continuing expansion of their Life Sciences (LS) team in Europe and the US where they have been consulting to Pharmaceutical and Biotech firms since 1996.

Their target clients are the Top 100 Pharmaceutical companies, leading Biotech’s, Agrochemicals, Medical Devices and Generic manufacturing companies. Their impressive client list includes 18 of the Top 20 Pharmaco’s and they facilitate a benchmark forum in Drug Safety whose members include 15 leading Pharmaceutical companies.

Current assignments focus on enhancing performance in a range of regulated business activities, including:

  • Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management

  • Clinical Development, Study Management and Clinical Trials Supplies

  • Manufacturing/Supply Chain with integration of QA/QC and compliance

Key to their success with clients is knowledge of their type of environment and the ability to work with them to implement operational improvements which reduce complexity and improve compliance to deliver substantial business benefits to our clients.

They are looking for a small number of experienced Senior Consultants & Managing Consultants to lead work streams and multi stream programs for our clients. Degree qualified candidates must have some experience with heavily regulated business processes in Life Sciences and should have:

  • Three to seven of business consulting experience with a recognized practice

  • A strong understanding of business processes – most assignments are issue led

  • A good understanding of how technology supports business results – and stronger technology skills are a major advantage

  • Strong client relationship skills

  • Project/program management skills with a track record of achieving project delivery to time, on budget and with clear client benefits

  • Highly developed facilitation skills

  • Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams including client personnel

  • A working knowledge of managing change

  • Some business experience prior to consulting is advantageous

Applicants for the Managing Consultant role must have in addition some exposure to business development.

They are majority-owned by our employees and has one Financial Institutional investor. Comprehensive remuneration packages are competitive, based on your experience.
